Rankin wants to play Tests
Friday 28 June 2013

Former Ireland pace man Boyd Rankin is keen to play Test cricket for England.
Rankin who played 52 ODIs for Ireland before making the switch is keen to make that leap in his career.
The 6 feet 8 inches tall fast bowler made his T20I debut for England in the first match against New Zealand in the first of the two T20Is at The Oval.
Rankin believes he is in the best frame of mind currently, but wants to make the switch to Test cricket since that is the reason he switched sides.
If Rankin does play Test cricket for England, he will become the second after Eoin Morgan to do so after having played for Ireland earlier.
Incidentally, Morgan led Rankin in his debut T20I for England.
