Sunday 06 December 2015

Delhi Daredevils have announced the removal of Gary Kirsten from chief coach's job for the upcoming ninth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Former Team India coach, Gary Kirsten, who guided India to their 2011 World Cup triumph, had a miserable two seasons with the Daredevils as the GMR group owned franchise finished in the bottom two.

"Gary, with his rich coaching experience made significant contribution towards our team culture and his work ethics were immaculate. We appreciate his contribution towards our team rebuilding process and would like to wish him the very best in all his future endeavors," Delhi Daredevil CEO Hemant Dua said in a media release.
