Broad targets World Test Ch'ship crown
Thursday 25 August 2011

England all-rounder Stuart Broad was a star with both the bat and the ball in the recently concluded Test series against India. And the 25-year-old has now set his sights on winning the World Test Championship in 2013.

"The World Test Championship is something we are aiming for," Broad was quoted as saying by The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday.

"The best chance of winning that is by being the best team in the world because, firstly, you are playing good cricket and, secondly, if you draw the final you will retain the championship," said Broad, who took 25 wickets including a hat-trick in the four-Test series and was adjudged the man of the series.
