L.B. Shastri Club were all out for 108 runs in 43 overs, mainly due to some measured bowling and tight fielding by the Telefunken Club.

The 50-over tournament, played between 15 teams divided into five groups, is sponsored by CICO Technologies Ltd. in the memory of its founder, Amit Gupta. This is the second time that CICO is sponsoring the tournament to encourage young cricket talent in Delhi just before the onset of the cricketing season.

The tournament is organised by Khushal Cricket Coaching Trust under the leadership of Gurusharan Singh, one of Delhi’s most dedicated coaches.

Veteran Indian cricketer and selector Madan Lal was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. He told the young cricketers to concentrate on performance and not hanker after "connections and recommendations". He also told them that if they want to go far, they should play the longer formats of the game and not 20:20 cricket.
