Verma complains against BCCI secretary
Friday 12 September 2014

Aditya Verma, secretary of the Cricket Association of Bihar, has lodged a complaint with the Supreme Court-appointed Mukul Mudgal commission against BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel. Verma alleged that the BCCI top official has been misleading the media with "wrong statements".

Verma had previously alleged that Patel has been giving media statements about N Srinivasan, who is currently being probed in the IPL-6 spot fixing scandal, being given a clean chit by the Mudgal commission.

Verma said, "I lodged a complaint against Mr Sanjay Patel with the Mudgal Commission regarding his continuous wrong statements in the media about the IPL-6 scam enquiry."

However, Justice (Retd) Mudgal refused to comment, when asked about Verma's complaint. "May be he (Verma) has lodged a complaint but I am not supposed to make any comments in the media about it," Mudgal told PTI.
