Lalit Modi has been reinstated as the president of Rajasthan Cricket Association after BJP leader Amin Pathan withdrew its no-confidence motion against Modi and his team.
Pathan had served a no-confidence motion against Modi and his faction nine months. However, the same Pathan group, which claimed the support of 15 districts, did a U-turn in front of a retired judge on Wednesday to pave the way for Modi's return.
"I did not have to give a decision, they (Amin Pathan group) took back the no-confidence motion. Better sense prevailed...if you cannot win, it's better to compromise," said Justice Mishra on Wednesday.
